WESTERN SYDNEY. BLUE MOUNTAINS.
ONE BLOODY LEGEND.
GUIDELINES / 2026

Benny wants to go viral.
The bush has other plans.

A struggling wannabe influencer from Western Sydney takes his mates into the Blue Mountains to prove the legendary panther is real. He hopes the discovery will launch his social channels and win back his girlfriend.

Then one of the boys disappears. Benny has to decide how far he will go for fame when his own life is on the line.

16–30 year olds.
Horror comedy fans.

Western Sydney mates, big dreams and influencer culture collide with an Australian bush legend.

The title does the talking.

Use the supplied artwork. Keep its proportions, letter shapes, spacing and original distressed texture.

01 / Give it space

Leave at least one quarter of a capital letter’s height around the title. Keep crops, credits and other graphics outside that area.

02 / Scale proportionally

Preserve the original artwork. Avoid extra shadows, outlines and added distress.

03 / Check the final size

Every letter and its texture should stay clear at the intended viewing size.

The downloads here retain the supplied original files. Yellow title exports are awaiting the updated #EBF958 artwork.

Bloody Yellow. Bloody Black.

Bloody Yellow is used everywhere in the film and across all initial launch communications. White gives longer guidance room to breathe.

Secondary colours / phase two only

These colours are reserved for second-phase marketing material.

Agree print colour conversions with your printer using a proof.

Say it loud.
Keep it readable.

Regular Oswald supports longer text; bold weights support labels. Keep texture out of small supporting copy.

Worn ink.
Clean information.

The supplied halftone brings a printed, gritty character to imagery and large areas.

Crop it deliberately and keep its scale consistent across a campaign. Keep fine texture away from small credits and body copy. The logo already carries its own distress.

From film frame
to cast title.

Inspired by a 1970s sitcom, freeze frames give key cast and crew a big moment with a bit of fun. Each moment brings together the film’s brand elements and animation.

Option One / Full treatment

The entire frame uses Bloody Yellow and black, including the character. Brunson Rough brings the cast name forward from behind the character’s head.

Cast title animation

Play the supplied page 20 animation below. This is the reference animation; its easing notes remain part of the guidance.

Animation notes

Add a slight overshoot and settle, an accelerating exit, and a 1.5-second longer full-size title hold.

Film title reveal

The title moves from extreme foreground into the Blue Mountains landscape, shrinking in perspective into place.

Is fame bloody
worth dying for?

Cheeky, direct and Australian

Let Benny’s ambition and the boys’ banter meet the threat of the panther. Use everyday language and a dry sense of humour. Keep the danger credible and give the joke room to land.

People first. Something in the bush.

Use approved film frames to show the mates, Western Sydney life and the Blue Mountains setting. Preserve the actors’ faces and the relationships within each scene. Keep key story reveals out of general promotion.
